The Inner Shift: A Journey Into Personal Practice

This offering was born from something we were both craving—a space that didn’t yet exist, but felt deeply needed. A place to explore yoga beyond movement… to slow down, reflect, and reconnect in a meaningful way.

What began as a quiet idea has now unfolded into something we’re so honored to share with you.

The Inner Shift is a six-month journey into the heart of personal practice. It’s not a teacher training. There are no checklists, no finish lines. Just a space to breathe, to feel, and to gently come home to yourself.

Each month, we’ll gather at the YOGA loft with a theme to guide us—woven through breathwork, gentle movement, yoga philosophy, meditation, and time for journaling or quiet connection. We’ll hold space together for whatever shows up.

What to bring:

Wear something cozy, bring a notebook, water or tea, and anything else that helps you feel grounded.

We’ll meet: The second Sunday of each month, July through December, from 1–4pm Dates: 7/13, 8/10, 9/14, 10/12, 11/9, 12/14 Cost: $550 (50% due at registration; remaining balance before we begin)

If you’ve been longing for a deeper connection to your practice, your self, and your breath—this might be the space you’ve been needing too.

Kids Yoga with Elena Michael

These engaging and playful classes introduce children to the foundations of yoga through music, storytelling, crafts, and games.

Each session incorporates age-appropriate movement, breathing techniques, and imaginative meditative exercises designed to spark creativity and curiosity.

Children will explore yoga poses in a way that supports both fine and gross motor development, while also building emotional awareness and self-regulation skills. Even at a young age, children are highly capable of participating in mindful practices.

These classes provide a fun and supportive environment where they can begin to develop a deeper sense of self-awareness and cultivate kind, respectful relationships with themselves and others.

May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month, and throughout the month, the YOGA loft will be offering donation-based yoga classes to support the GBM Research Organization — an incredible organization funding research for a cure for glioblastoma, a devastating form of brain cancer.

This mission is especially meaningful to us, as Catherine Johnson, a beloved member of our Yoga Loft community, is personally connected to this cause.

100% of the proceeds will go directly to the GBM Research Foundation.

No donation is too small — every contribution helps move us closer to finding a cure.

Community: A Special Evening at the LOFT

We’re creating a special evening at the loft—a calm, welcoming space to just be.

On a day that can mean something different for everyone, we’ll gather for one hour of gentle journaling, grounding meditation, soft sound, and time to reflect or share if it feels right.

After our circle, stay and enjoy charcuterie, light bites, and a sparkling toast (non-alcoholic) as we ease into community and connection.

Plus—a flower bar where you can pick and create your own small bouquet to take home as a simple reminder of the care and connection you shared.

Whether you’re a mom, honoring one, missing one, or simply craving a moment to yourself—this space is for you.

This 2-hr workshop explores the connections between creativity, breath, and movement. You will be guided through meditation, journaling prompts, and yogic movement and breathwork. Poetry reading will be threaded throughout the workshop. Everyone is encouraged to explore creativity in their unique way--writing, drawing, doodling, etc.

Dress comfortably and bring your favorite journal and writing utensil(s).

Join Kara for a day dedicated to nurturing and reconnecting with your authentic feminine self. This one day retreat is for any female-identifying persons who wish to dive deeper into exploring how to embrace their femine beauty, strength, and power.

The day will include guided journaling, meditation, movement, and discussion sessions, and will conclude with a restorative yoga session and sound bath. Each session will be thougthfully curated for participants to safely and confidently explore ways to empower themselves to live more intentionally and to fully immerse in the present moment.

Themes from Women Living Deliciously, by Florence Given, will be woven throughout the day, which will guide participants into considering how to live more authentically, fully, and deliciously by embracing their whole, uniquely beautiful, feminine self. As such, it is suggested that participants read Given's book and come with questions, discussion points, and ideas to share.

Light snacks will be provided. Optional 15 minute Reiki sessions with Sylvie will also be available.
